Lauryn Atkinson

Founder & Head Coach

Coach Lauryn started competitive gymnastics at a young age and eventually joined cheerleading continuing as an athlete in high school and college. During her time as a student at Rowan University, she joined the Washington Township High School Cheerleading coaching staff where she would go on to lead the highly successful competitive program for over a decade. In 2006, Lauryn created Jersey Pride as an outlet for children of all ages to reap the benefits of being part of the fun, athletic, and disciplined sport of All Star Cheer.

Lauryn has been an educator for many years and now teaches fourth grade in Wildwood. She has dedicated much of her life to children's development both academically and athletically and continues this vocation in Cape May County. Since the fall of 2020, Lauryn has become involved in many facets of our community. She developed cheer curriculum and taught zoom classes for Special Olympics New Jersey, managed volunteer groups for DelMo Sports events, and continues to support various school and community outreach activities.

Lauryn and her husband Kevin have two daughters that couldn't be more excited for Jersey Pride Cape May. The girls enjoy their involvement in school clubs and various sports and are ecstatic over continuing their All Star Cheer journey. Lauryn and her family appreciate how they've been warmly welcomed in Cape May County and look forward to continuing to contribute and support the awesome community in which they are a now a part.

Mallory Stetter

Coach

Coach Mallory has been involved in cheer and dance for a combined 11 years and is a recent graduate from UNLV! Mallory looks forward to inspiring young athletes to achieve their own goals and help guide them throughout our program. Volunteering and community involvement is important to Coach Mallory, specifically her work with the Ronald McDonald House. She is also an entreprenuer and the owner of Mallory's Eats, an artisan baking company where she creates custom desserts!
